Hi!
My name is Lindsay Bell, and I am a female tattoo artist in West Palm Beach, Florida. I specialize in tattoos inspired by nature, working in both black and grey and color.
I began seriously considering a career in the arts while in high school. I studied and excelled in advanced placement art, closing out my senior year with a solo show.
I went on to earn my BFA from the University of Florida by way of New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida in 2004. During this time my work was exhibited in the campus gallery on multiple occasions, and at several Art Basel events.
I spent the next 12 years in Miami. I loved it so much! I bartended in local music venues for many years, and in 2006 stumbled into a job in the water sports industry that changed the direction of my life entirely. For the next 8 years I was immersed in surf and skate culture designing skateboard decks, apparel, and websites. I began to get up with the sun instead of going to bed at sunrise after a long night behind the bar.
I returned to Palm Beach County in 2013 and worked as the Digital media Coordinator at Palm Beach State College for 6 years. In this role, I was responsible for all social media marketing efforts across five college campuses as well as a large portion of the College’s professional photography needs. During this time I photographed many events and celebrities such as PitBull and Danica Patrick. I was bored to death.
In 2020 I had an awakening. I realized that a lot of of the things I had accepted as truth within our system were false. I became more immersed in my art and creativity, painting murals across Lake Worth Beach and participating in the Street Painting festival year after year.
I stumbled into tattooing by way of my friendship with Alex Rockoff, one of the most talented people I know. And the rest is history.
