Well. This was an absolute treat. I don’t often shoot with a flash because I really enjoy shaping natural light. However, these images are among my favorite photos I’ve ever shot. Breya is not only a good friend, but one of my favorite people to photograph because her beauty is so unique. With fiery red hair and freckles, her stunning beauty is only rivaled by her kind soul. I hope you enjoy these photos of her maternity session which was shot so close to her due date that baby Makai is already here! Stay tuned for some adorable newborn photos of the little man. 🙂
I had so much fun shooting Mama Jen’s maternity photos, but the best part is that when the pregnancy was over… there were beautiful little humans that I was lucky enough to photograph (and snuggle)! It was the highlight of my week! We did this newborn session in my home where it was quiet and peaceful… aside from both of our toddlers wreaking havoc in the other room with my husband. 😉 Jen is a huge breastfeeding advocate and wanted some breastfeeding photos of her and the twins to go along with her cherished memories. I hope you enjoy this adorable twin newborn photo session.
I had so much fun shooting with this beautiful mama and her family. This was the first of my new Maternity breakout session package, shooting Mom down at Ocean Ridge Hammocks Park by herself in the early morning, and the whole family at John Prince park later in the afternoon. It really helped to let Jen relax with some “me time” and get the photos of herself that she wanted. We got lucky with beautiful weather and light. 🙂 Oh, and there are two baby girls in there! So exciting! I hope you enjoy these photos of Jen’s South Florida maternity photoshoot. 🙂
We all have that one friend. You can go days, months, even years without seeing. them Then as soon as you are reunited, you pick right back up where you left off. It’s like you saw each other yesterday. Rosie and Coral were born one month apart to the day. By an amazing coincidence, in 2016 my best friend Erin and I found ourselves pregnant at the same time. How crazy is that?! It was so much fun. The only problem is that life has taken us in different directions, with her living in North Carolina and me in Florida. When our babies were born, it only took 8 weeks for them to meet. We’ve managed to get them together 3 times this year, and they have so much fun every time, especially now that they’re a little older. I hope you enjoy these photos of their most recent adventure together. 🙂
I absolutely cannot get enough of baby Cash!!! He is the sweetest, most friendly little dude! I lost count of all the hugs I got during this session! His crafty Mama, Lacy made him this cool hot air balloon to celebrate his 1st birthday. Enjoy the photos from baby Cash’s hot air balloon photoshoot! 🙂
Well, here we are. Hurricanes are a lot more fun: 1. Before you are a homeowner, and 2. Before you have a child. This storm is a freaking monster. We are all buttoned up, but the nerves remain. While Coral was napping this afternoon, I went outside and spent some time in our pretty little backyard. I’m hoping and praying that we don’t lose it all. We are located in Lake Worth, FL and have a mandatory curfew of 3pm tomorrow afternoon to be in our homes because of the storm. We are projected to get extreme conditions with winds as strong as 155 mph. Here’s to hoping this big girl shifts in our favor. I thought I’d share these photos I took of of of our prep, as well as some pretty little details, things I love about our home before the storm.
Water & Earth Jewelry is a passion project I started in 2012. I’ve played around with jewelry making since I was a teenager, and when my husband Matt and I got together, we started working as a team on these shell pieces. We make a good team. 😉 He also assists me often on photoshoots and this one was no exception… so you know I had to throw in an image of him wrangling our daughter while helping direct our model. 😉 So, these images are special to me because it’s not only my concept, but my product. All pieces are worn by natural beauty and undeniable sweetheart, Meg Ford. (my new muse- no joke.) Her beautiful hair was done by the talented Analisa Saloman. I hope you enjoy, and if you’d like to shop the collection, you can visit us here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/waterandearthjewelry
